Video Interview with Kira Talent

How to setup the Kira integration to collect video interviews from applicants

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Kira Talent is an online assessment platform that enables institutions to evaluate applicants through video and written responses, helping admissions teams gain deeper insight into candidates’ communication skills, personality, and overall fit.

Full Fabric has an integration with Kira, and video interviews can become a reality in your application templates! 🎥

Enabling the Kira Talent integration

To enable the Kira integration and start using video interviews in your Full Fabric's application templates, you must undertake a series of steps:

  • Contact Kira's team, and request them to enable the integration with Full Fabric. They should not need any specific details from Full Fabric.

  • Contact the Full Fabric's team, and request us to enable the Kira integration in our end. In that request, please include the Token and Secret Key previously given to you by Kira. We can only enable it if we have those two elements:

  • Now, with the integration enabled on both ends, access the application template where you wish to activate the Video Interview tab

  • The tab is disabled per default, switch it to enabled. Rename the tab's name (if you want something different than 'video interview'), and populate the instructions field if you wish to provide applicants some guidance

  • Finally and most importantly, insert the interview ID obtained from Kira (without the Interview ID the interview tab will not work in the application template)

How does it look in the application template?

The Video Interview tab is displayed in the applicant's view of the application template, in the order you have placed it:

Upon reaching it, applicants are shown the instructions you've setup, plus the START button to initiate the video interview. Once they press it, a new modal pops up to redirect them to Kira's platform. After completing the video interview in Kira, they may return to the application template's page and proceed with it.
