Whenever in new surroundings, you must learn your way around. So, not unlike a campus tour, we're going to tour you across the Forms front page. There's no cafeteria, but there is a library of sorts. Check it out! πŸ˜ƒ

How to access the Forms module

Β  Β  Β 1) Click Apps on the sidebar
  Β  Β 2) Choose Forms

There you go! πŸš€Β

The overview consists of a single page listing every form that's ever been created, a View selector to visualise forms as different teams and team members, and a number of buttons and shortcuts to act upon a form. Below we'll describe the available functions to greater length.

How to start a new form

Tap the button Create a new form, seen above, and jump to this article.

How to find a form by author

As previously stated, the View selector, found on the top-right of the page, lets you quickly filter results to only see which forms a specific team or team member created. Your chosen filter will stay in place until your current session expires, even if you exit the overview and later return, so bear that in mind if you can't find a certain form, thinking that All is selected.

Interpreting the columns

The columns display the basic details of each form for quick perusal:Β

NAME β€” Official name of the form, also visible on the front-end.
CREATED BY β€” Staff user who created the form.
CREATED AT β€” Date when the form was created.
TOTAL VIEWS β€” Number of times that the landing page was visited.
UNIQUE VIEWS β€” Number of unique users who accessed the landing page.
SUBMISSIONS β€” How many forms have been submitted.

How to manage existing forms

The five buttons on the right side of each form allow the following operations, respectively:

Stats β€” Opens a list of every profile with a submitted form, with real-time stats about its performance so far.
Form β€” Open the landing page in a separate tab.
Edit this form β€” Go inside the schema and other settings of the form.
Duplicate form β€” Create an editable copy of the form by inserting a NAME and clicking Duplicate form and add more info.
Delete β€” Hard-delete the form by pressing I understand the consequences, delete this form when asked Are you ABSOLUTELY sure?.
