At Full Fabric, we recognise that some of our clients have specific needs that may not align perfectly with our broader development roadmap or standard prioritisation process. For these cases, we offer the option to request a Development Sprint โ€“ a paid, time-boxed, fixed-scope project designed to deliver the capabilities that are most important to you predictably and cost-effectively.

What is a Development Sprint?

A Development Sprint is structured to focus exclusively on a particular feature or enhancement a client needs, which may not be prioritised in our product roadmap. During the sprint, our development team dedicates time and resources to deliver the requested feature(s) within a defined timeframe. This ensures that your organisation receives the specific functionality it requires without needing to wait for it to become a part of the standard product development cycle.

Key characteristics of a Paid Development Sprint include:

  • Time-Boxed: The sprint has a clearly defined timeframe, ensuring that development efforts are focused and efficient.

  • Fixed-Scope: The scope of the project is agreed upon before the sprint begins, outlining exactly what will be delivered and how it will meet your needs.

  • Predictable and Cost-Effective: By specifying the scope and duration upfront, we provide a transparent and predictable pricing structure, allowing you to budget with confidence.

When Should You Consider a Development Sprint?

A Development Sprint can be a valuable option if:

  • You have a critical need for a feature not currently planned for development.

  • You need a solution within a specific timeframe that might not align with our broader roadmap.

This option allows you to have a greater influence over the timing and focus of development efforts, ensuring that the final outcome is tailored to your specific requirements.

How to Request a Proposal

If you believe a Development Sprint may be the right approach, please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM). They will work with you to understand your needs, provide more details about the process, and facilitate discussions with our product and development teams to scope out the sprint. From there, we can outline a proposal with a timeline, deliverables, and costs.

We are committed to building a product that meets your needs, and the option for a Paid Development Sprint is just one more way we strive to deliver value to our clients. If you have any questions about this process, please contact your CSM for more information.
