How to sign up/in as staff

Unlike with applicants, students and alumni, who get to autonomously create their own accounts, the way staff users work is that they're created anew by our Support team or by a staff super-user: someone from staff who's been entrusted with the special permission to manage all staff accounts alongside us. To be more specific, the process is always that FULL FABRIC or said super-user create the new user in a dedicated area and then send him or her an invitation to join the platform.

Hence, you have two possible paths: either discover who the super-user is and solicit their help, or write to our Support team with the following data: first name, last name, email address and team (for example: Admissions, IT, Management, Marketing and so on). In turn, you can expect an email invitation with an activation link that’s valid for 48 hours. Once you activate your account, log in as described here to be presented with the staff view. 💁‍♀️

A common mistake is to create a regular prospect account in the absence of a staff one under the assumption that it can be upgraded. We totally understand the excitement of getting one's feet wet, but it's not possible to elevate a prospect to staff. 😟 Consequently, we’ll have to delete the prospect account to make space for the staff one (since the portal doesn't allow for duplicate e-mails), or just change the prospect email address to another of your choosing (if you want to keep the non-staff account as a test user).

Alternatively, if you're the super-user at your school but don't know how to proceed to create a new staff account, this article is for you.

As with candidate accounts, sessions expire after 12 hours by default.

What are teams?

About teams, they're the set of permissions that a group of users should be granted as dictated by their positions in order to successfully perform their job-related duties, while not having access to unnecessary or even confidential resources. 🤫 By telling us what team you belong to, we’ll be able to figure out the appropriate equivalent within the portal. You can read about that here.
