A course page allows you to manage all of the candidates associated with the course from all lifecycle states, just like class pages.

Candidates can either be associated with the course by:

  • studying the course individually as a stand-alone course (the profile has a journey for the course)

  • studying the course as part of the curriculum of a class (the profile has a journey for the class with a transcript with a registration for the course)

Both these types of candidates can be seen from course pages. Please see the example below of a course page where one profile has a course journey and the other profile has a transcript registration for the course on their class transcript.

Profile studying the course individually

A profile with a course journey is a student which is studying the course as a "stand-alone" course.

Please find an example below of a profile's course journey in the profile sidebar for the "Life coaching basics - 01.01.23" course.

Profile studying the course as part of the curriculum of a class

A profile studying the course as part of the curriculum of a class, for example they are studying the "Life coaching basics - 01.01.23" course as part of the "Life coaching certificate - January 2023" class, will have a journey for the class with a transcript which contains the registration for the course.

Please find an example below of a profile's class journey in the profile sidebar for the "Life coaching certificate - January 2023" class, which has a class transcript.

In the example below, of the profile's transcript for the "Life coaching certificate - January 2023" class, we can see registration for the "Life coaching basics - 01.01.23" course.

Filtering profiles by those studying the course

To filter by profiles which have either a course journey (studying the course individually) or a transcript registration course (studying the course as part of the curriculum of a class) then use the purple and green filter on the page.

The purple filter will filter all profiles with a transcript registration for the course.

The green filter will filter all profiles with a journey for the course.
