FULL FABRIC supports authentication via LinkedIn, the popular social network for connecting with professionals and companies.

IMPORTANT: Please note that it is no longer possible to retrieve experience entry data via LinkedIn as access to this data has been deprecated by LinkedIn.

What does the process of authenticating via LinkedIn look like for candidates?

After doing the necessary set up for setting up the integration with LinkedIn, a new option for LinkedIn will appear on your sign up and login page where candidates can choose to sign up or login via LinkedIn. Please read the following article for setting up the integration with LinkedIn. Please see the flow below for how the authentication process with LinkedIn appears to candidates.

Signing up and creating a new account via LinkedIn

1) Either on the sign-up or sign-in page (works for both), click the LinkedIn button at the bottom

2) Log into your LinkedIn account (if you haven't already)

3) Click Allow to authorize the action of linking the accounts, after which you'll be redirected back to Full Fabric

4) Review your First name, Last name and Email as transferred from LinkedIn, which you may edit as pleased, and press Create new account

Connecting an existing account to log in via LinkedIn

If a candidate already has an account but wants to log in via LinkedIn they can still do so.

1) Once in the login page, click the LinkedIn button

2) Log into your LinkedIn account (if you haven't already), after which you'll be redirected back to Full Fabric

3) Scroll down to or link an existing account, introduce the E-mail address and the Password you originally chose for your Full Fabric profile and hit the button Link existing account

Finito! The beauty of this is that henceforth they can sign in both traditionally and via LinkedIn! 🤩

Logging in again via LinkedIn

1) Once on the login page, click the LinkedIn button
2) There's no second step – it' that easy! 😆
